Joanita is a final year law student at the University of Professional Studies, Accra; soon to receive her Bachelor of Laws Degree. She obtained her first degree in Biochemistry at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and worked at the Ghana Standards Authority for her National Service; after which she decided to follow her passion and interest for law. She has demonstrated a high ability to work hard to improve through academic performance, and actively participating in a few legal extracurricular activities. However, apart from her interest in law, she likes to have general knowledge in other areas of life. As such, she enrolled in a baking school and obtained a certificate. She also enrolled in APTECH, a software engineering school whilst waiting for university placements after Senior High School. However, she obtained admission to the university after a few months at APTECH and left to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry. Joanita loves to design, bake, read novels and listen to music in her free time. What sets her apart is her unwavering enthusiasm for the law and her diverse knowledge in science and arts which makes her an all-rounded person. She has a genuine passion for advocating justice and helping individuals navigate complex legal matters. In the area of law, she has particular interests in Corporate and Commercial Law, Family law, and Dispute Resolution and Litigation. She will like to specialize in Corporate and Commercial in the near future.
