Managing Attorney

Eddie MacCarthy is the founder and Managing Attorney at MacCarthy & Associates. He was called to the bar Ghana Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. He holds a Qualifying Certificate of Law from the Ghana School of Law, a Master of Law (LL.M) in Oil & Gas Law, a Bachelor of Law (LL. B) degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with Philosophy from the University of Ghana. He has a knack for Law of torts, Intellectual Property Law, Banking Law and Practice, Drafting legal documents as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is also lecturer of law at Wisconsin International University College, Ghana and KAAF University College, teaching various law subjects. Eddie is a smart, interesting, multi-talented and friendly lawyer who is focused on the single goal of helping clients with any legal challenge. He is a goal-oriented person and enjoys meeting and working with different people. He is a perfectionist who pay’s attention to all the minute details. He is a creative thinker who likes to explore alternative dispute resolution methods to problem-solving and has an open mind about what will work best. He is diligent, efficient and highly organized. He enjoys solving problems, troubleshooting issues, and coming up with enduring solutions in a timely manner.
